That’s right, you’d think it was an important notice about your account. Instead, it was a promotion in which you are offered a TV service to add to your current account.

That’s right. “Please contact us about your account” really meant, please call us so that we can add more services for $45 per month. In the customer service world, that’s called a scam. They got your attention by tricking the customer into thinking the letter pertained to their existing account.
This is a tell-tale of a company that willingly lies to its customers. Do you want to do business with this kind of company?
